THE DUTCH LAKES + CHEESE FARM
After visiting the big cities this tour is a relaxing way to discover the coutryside of Holland. We start with a visit of a Cheese Farm. The farmer shows us his farm, his cows and of course his cheese. At the end of the tour we can taste a few of his delicious cheeses. In the afternoon we go to Nieuwkoop. The Lakes of Nieuwkoop are part of the Holland-Utrecht low fenland region which is called the Groene Hart (Green Heart) of the Netherlands. This nature area of 2,000 hectares is among the most important wetland regions in the Netherlands. The only way to discover this beautiful area is by boat. On a three hour trip our guide takes you to little villages, small rivers and many birds. During this trip we have a picnic basket full of dutch food.
